In-person across Stockton and San Joaquin County, or remote anywhere. When email fails, Wi-Fi drops, or a new hire needs a configured laptop by Monday, you have one direct line to call.
Don’t take our word for “accessible.” Audit this page right now.
Plenty of agencies sell ADA compliance. Fewer let you check their own site. The audit below runs fifteen WCAG 2.2 checks against the page you’re on (the same standard the Department of Justice references) and points directly at what it measured.

Accessibility statement
UY Web Studio is committed to making uyweb.studio usable by everyone it reaches, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, switch devices, magnification, or voice control.
Conformance target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA — the same standard we build to for clients. We fix the markup itself; we don’t use an accessibility overlay widget.
How we test
Automated checks with axe-core and Google Lighthouse on every release
Keyboard-only walkthroughs of every page
Screen-reader spot checks with VoiceOver and NVDA
Zoom and text resizing to 200%, light and dark themes, and reduced-motion settings
Known limitations
The 3D project orbit on Work is a visual layer over a plain list of project links, which is what keyboard and screen-reader users reach. Smaller screens and reduced-motion settings get the list instead of the orbit.
Meeting booking on the Contact page opens Google Calendar, which we don’t control.

How this site compares
The same automated audits, run on our homepage and on the homepages of three established web design agencies across Stockton, Sacramento, and San Francisco. We’re not naming them; the point is the build approach, not the people.
Homepage audit, mobile. Lighthouse figures are the median of three runs. UY Web Studio measured 2026-10-12; the other agencies measured 2026-10-12. They’re unnamed on purpose — the point is the build approach, not the people. Green (✓) meets a published standard and red (✕) fails it — Lighthouse 90+ / under 50, Core Web Vitals for paint, Lighthouse’s curves for blocking time and page weight, and any WCAG 2.2 AA violation. No highlight means in between, or no published standard. ★ marks the best result in each row.
WordPress is great. It’s just not great for every site.
WordPress runs a huge share of the web, and it’s the right call for big editorial teams or sites built around a specific plugin. But a five-to-fifteen-page business site usually gets a database, a PHP server to patch, a premium theme, a page builder, and a stack of plugins with their own license renewals loaded on every visit.
We build static-first: pages are pre-built and served from a global CDN, with only the code each page uses. No server or database by default (if a site needs one, we add an encrypted database and private admin access), no plugins to update, no hosting plan propping it up. If you want to edit content yourself, you get a lightweight, Git-based editor that works from your phone. Each edit triggers a fresh build so the site stays fast.
What one local agency’s WordPress homepage loads
jQuery, plus jQuery Migrate for old plugins
A page builder’s runtime, and its “Pro” add-on’s runtime
A premium theme’s 15 separate script files
A slider plugin, plus two copies of the same carousel library
A forms plugin that ships its own second copy of jQuery
A review widget, a Facebook pixel, and two Google tags
An accessibility overlay that patches problems after the page loads
Measuring this page…
WordPress figures: Lighthouse mobile run, median of three, measured 2026-10-12. Includes everything the page pulls in — theme, page builder, sliders, review widgets, analytics, and an accessibility overlay.
SEO + AI search
Here’s exactly what Google and ChatGPT read on this page.
Instead of a “free AI ranking” sales call, here’s the raw material: this page’s own search snippet and structured data, read straight out of the page you’re on.
We’re a newer studio, so we’d rather show you the work and let you test this site yourself than pad this space. Worked with us? We’d love to hear how it went.
Our sites start at $349 for a single-purpose site of up to five pages, and $1,050 for a full site of up to fifteen pages with a custom component library and a content editor. Larger or ongoing work is quoted at a fixed scope before anything starts, with zero surprise invoices.
Do you build with WordPress?
Not by default. WordPress is a good fit for large editorial teams or sites that depend on a specific plugin ecosystem. For most small-business sites it adds a database, a server to patch, premium theme and plugin licenses, and dozens of extra files per page. We build lean, static-first sites instead. If you want to edit content yourself, we ship a lightweight editor without the WordPress overhead.
Can I update my own website?
Yes. Sites on our Studio tier ship with a content editor for text, images, and pages. Every site also comes with its own AI agent that can draft updates for you, and changes are reviewed before they publish.
Is my website ADA compliant?
Every site we build targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the standard the Department of Justice references for web accessibility. We test with automated tools (axe, Lighthouse) and by hand with a keyboard and a screen reader. You can run the same checks against this page in the accessibility demo above.
What is AI search optimization (AIO)?
AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google’s AI Overviews now answer questions that used to send people to a search results page. AIO makes your business easy for those assistants to understand and cite: structured data, an llms.txt file, clear answers to common questions, and consistent business details everywhere they appear.
